Holly Dorfer is a grifter. Her life has been a series of let downs. She finally believes she's hit the big time with her new young, rich and handsome husband. Luck unexpectedly flips for an underachieving mama's boy on his 17th job interview.

Strange Luck is an American television series, starring D. B. Sweeney in the role of Chance Harper, a freelance photographer afflicted with a bizarre tendency to always be in the wrong place at the right time. As Chance himself says, "If I go to a restaurant, somebody chokes. If I walk into a bank, it gets robbed." Harper's strange luck began when, as a small child, he was the sole survivor of a plane crash that killed everyone else aboard, including both of his parents.

Abuela's Luck is a story about appreciation and a lesson on luck. Some of us may not realize it, but luck can stem from our own past and have a direct affect on our future. We are introduced to Raymond, a 19 year-old Dominican-American who is asked by his Abuela to cash out what she assumes is a winning scratch off. Once at the bodega, we learn that Raymond has other plans in mind. And so does fate.

The daughter of a wealthy businessman has disappeared in Mexico, and all the efforts to find her have been unsuccessful. A psychologist, knowing that the girl has an ultra bad luck, persuades her father to send to Mexico one of his employees, an accountant with super bad luck, to find her. Perhaps he will be lucky, and his bad luck could help to find the unlucky girl.

Tucker's Luck was a British television series made by the BBC between 1983 and 1985.The series is a spin-off from the school drama Grange Hill and capitalised on the popularity of one of the series' original characters — Peter "Tucker" Jenkins, played by Todd Carty.Tucker's Luck followed the exploits of Tucker and his friends, Alan Humphries and Tommy Watson, after they had left school and their attempts to find employment and cope out there in the "real world". Three series were made, with several former Grange Hill cast members reprising their roles for the spin-off, although the programme never came close to matching the popularity of Grange Hill.The third and final series saw the first appearances of Tucker's younger sister, eight-year old Rhona, and Tucker's elder brother Barry.
